Shipping and Handling

*When you place your order

At Beyond gourmet gifts, all orders are custom made at the time an order is placed.

*Time for an order to ship

Most gifts require 24 hours before shipping. A notification is sent via e-mail when an order is shipped unless special request. 

*Gift Cards

All gifts come with a complimentary gift card unless special request.

*Special orders

Gifts that require additional time for making will have a notification on the gift when ordering with special instructions.


*Orders shipped to Hospitals, Hotels, Colleges, Businesses, etc.,

These orders are usually delivered to a receptionist area and not directly to the recipient and to ensure proper delivery to the recipient, we ask that these orders take special care in the message bar. Please attach recipient's name in the message bar for proper delivery.

*Please allow 2-5 extra days in transit for rural areas


​*24 Hour Shipping Guarantee

We guarantee that all orders will be shipped within 24 hours unless inclement weather or customized orders. This applies to Monday through 12:00 p.m. on Fridays. All orders placed after 12:00 p.m. on Fridays will be shipped on the following Monday. Store hours are Monday thru Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Orders placed on Weekends will ship on the Monday following unless it falls on a holiday. Special request orders will be handled according to special instructions.

*Shipping and Handling Fees

Shipping and handling fees are added when an order is placed at checkout. All orders $75.00 dollars are free before shipping and handling fees. All local orders in the Metro Birmingham area carriers a flat fee of $12.99. Delivery is not available outside the Metro Area at this time.

*Shipping Carriers

We ship bu UPS, Fedex, and the United States Postal service.

*Shipping in warm weather

Some orders require special handling during warm weather such as chocolates and some cookies, to preserve the quality of such items a cold pak is required. The price of a cold pak is an additional charge and it will be added at the time of checkout. If the customer wishes to decline the cold pak, the gift will ship with the full responsibility of weather damages to the customer and Beyond gourmet gifts assumes no liability for weather damages.

*Local Delivery

Local Delivery is only in the Metro Birmingham area at this time. Delivery charge is a flat fee of $12.99

Please note that local delivery is 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Please note that delivery to Businesses, Hospitals, Schools, Hotels, etc., are usually handled by a receptionist and the order is not hand delivered to the recipient, therefore to ensure proper delivery please attach recipients information in the message bar.


*Return Policy and cancellation

Once an order has shipped it cannot be cancelled. If the order is cancelled after shipping, standard shipping and handling fees will be deducted from the order.

* Return Policy on Final Sales

Final Sale Items carry a No Return and a No Refund Policy because these item are priced for final sales and are closeouts.


*Return Policy for Physical Damaged

Products physically damaged due to shipping (not heat damage) will be replaced or credited. Please notify us within 7 Business days and your order will be replaced or credited. If your order is missing an item check to make sure that an item was replaced with an equal of greater value item. Please see our Policy on item substitution.  

*Substitution Policy

Although we make every attempt to update inventory occasionally items may need to be substituted for an equal or greater value. We reserve to right to make substitutions of equal or greater value.
